Marantz Horizon combines a sculptural cabinet with serious audio hardware. It is built as a high-end all-in-one wireless speaker, but adds the connectivity expected from a modern smart-home audio product, including HEOS multiroom streaming, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and HDMI eARC.
The appeal is the combination of premium materials, unusually ambitious amplification and a broad connection set. It can act as a standalone music system, a networked HEOS speaker or an HDMI-connected audio solution for a television.
Horizon is aimed at listeners who want high-end sound and design in one object rather than a traditional rack of components and separate loudspeakers. It also suits design-focused interiors where the speaker itself is meant to be seen.
The Horizon targets the luxury audio tier rather than mainstream wireless-speaker pricing.
Despite its all-in-one format, room position and listening distance affect bass and imaging.
HEOS service availability can vary by region and account.
At about 12.5 kg, this is a serious piece of home audio rather than a portable speaker.
Based on Marantz's published specifications, Horizon combines distinctive industrial design with substantial amplification, a multi-driver architecture and modern streaming support. Its strongest fit is a design-focused room where a single premium speaker is preferred to separate components.
Finishes, connectivity features, firmware and regional availability can change. Check Marantz's official Horizon product page for the latest information.
